Smaller tables can book straight through the online system, like any other night. For a work dinner, a family gathering or anything that needs a long table, it is worth talking to the team first.
Email info@elifcastlest.co.uk with your date, your numbers and roughly what time you would like to sit, and they will come back to you on what is available and on anything that applies to that particular date.

The house format for a group is simple and it works: cold mezze platters down the middle of the table, hot mezze to follow, then the mixed grills.
Add sides and there is enough on the table for everyone to reach. The à la carte runs as usual, and there are separate vegan and gluten-free menus.

How festive dates work
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are peak trading days, and different booking conditions can apply to them.
Card details
Card details are required for a minimum of 2 guests to secure a reservation on these dates.
Deposits & set menus
A booking on one of these dates may involve a higher deposit or prepayment, a set menu or a minimum spend. Whether any of these applies to your date is confirmed when you book.
Cancellations
Different cancellation periods and charges can apply on these dates. The terms for your booking are explained at the time and replace the standard ones where they say so.
Offers
Regular offers and promotions do not apply on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day or bank holidays.
The private room,
16 to 25 guests
Behind its own doors, a long marble table under a crystal chandelier. It takes a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 25 guests.
Email the team with your date and numbers and they will come back to you on where you would sit and how long the table can be held.
The usual house rules
Dress code
A smart dress code. Tracksuits, sportswear and shorts are not permitted.
Children
Families are welcome, and children can be accommodated before 4pm.
Allergies
Tell us when you book, and at least 48 hours before your visit where you can, then again when you order.
Service
A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your bill.
Book the season
Open every day, noon until ten, at 22 Castle Street. Thursday to Saturday evenings fill up first, so it is worth picking your date early.
